Over 55 cousins, spouses and children representing 34 families from Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Arizona, New York and Alabama attended the first Families of Reynolds Fork reunion in the Great Hall at Hindman Settlement School in Hindman, Kentucky on Saturday, September 13th, 2003.
Ham, turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy were provided and families brought their favorite side dishes and desserts. After the delicious dinner, a raffle was held to support the web site and future reunions. Lucky winners shared a variety of prizes ranging from Salt Water Taffy to wall quilts, coffee, a rose bush and more. Visit the Picture Gallery page for more reunion photos.
Over 20 people attended the Genealogy Workshop on Friday afternoon at the Hindman Settlement School. Cousins and family members shared their information and discovered new relationships. Several people had the 'stories' of grandparents confirmed that they were actually cousins. All those who attended benefited greatly from the information.
On Sunday, several family members visited local cemeteries. Those attending the reunion decided that the next reunion should be held in three years. So, plan to join us in 2006 for the Second Families of Reynolds Fork Family Reunion. If anyone has pictures from the reunion that they would like to share on this web site, please email us and we'll tell you where to send them! 
We sold this CD at the reunion. It contains all of the photos from the web site and approximately 80 more photos, many in high resolution. Also, it has the booklet that was handed out at the reunion, an expanded family tree file, and a 107 page descendant tree. There is also a gedcom file that you may use to import family data directly into your genealogy software. If you would like a copy, they're available for $10 plus $2 shipping and handling.
